Hires Government and Education Solutions Expert
Former Education Technology Director, Consultant, and Industry speaker, Chris Reily to Provide IT Solutions to Government and Education Customers
KITTERY, Maine—Feb. 26, 2008—GreenPages Technology Solutions, a leading provider of IT services and products, has announced that Christopher Reily has joined the company as director of government and education solutions. He will be responsible for consulting, designing, and implementing technology solutions for GreenPages' Gov/Ed customers across the United States.
Specifically, Reily will provide schools, universities, and government agencies with expert counsel on technology initiatives and plans. “Government and education organizations have some unique technology implementation challenges and requirements,” said Reily. “It's not just hardware and software, the solution needs to be able to address the reality of budgeting and the broader goal of technology integration and implementation.”
Reily is a nationally known expert on technology integration in education and government. Prior to joining GreenPages, Reily was vice president at Edvance Technology Design where he directed the firm's technology consulting and engineering practice for 10 years. The firm has worked on more than 300 different government and education technology projects throughout the U.S.
Prior to Edvance, Reily was the network manager for a large public institution in Massachusetts. He holds a B.S. in business and an M.Ed in educational technology. He is also a senior visiting instructor at Salem State College where he teaches technology integration courses.
