GreenPages Technology Solutions Announces Acquisition of Foedus' Sales and Marketing Division; VMware to Acquire Foedus’ Professional Services Group
Acquisition strengthens GreenPages' momentum in virtualization arena; Expands ability to support customer virtualization initiatives
KITTERY, Maine—Jan. 15, 2008—GreenPages Technology Solutions, a national IT solutions provider, announced today that it has reached an asset acquisition agreement to acquire the sales and marketing division of Foedus, a leading provider of virtual infrastructure technologies and services to companies worldwide. As part of the acquisition, VMware will acquire Foedus’ professional services division.
In addition to Foedus' sales and marketing staff, GreenPages will also acquire and support approximately 300 of Foedus' customers. "For the past three years, Foedus and GreenPages have worked together to deliver virtualization and engineering solutions to customers across the United States," said Ron Dupler, GreenPages' CEO. “The opportunity to add additional account executives skilled in virtualization technologies reinforces our dedication to delivering the leading technologies that drive business and IT."
This acquisition extends GreenPages' market presence and sales and marketing capabilities while accelerating GreenPages' momentum in the virtualization arena and strengthening the company's strategic partnerships with VMware, EqualLogic, and Riverbed Technologies.
