George Mellor
President
As our current president of CBE Technologies, George Mellor is in charge of day-to-day operations. He joined CBE technologies as the Vice President of Commercial sales achieving strong growth Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. From there he moved over to the Director of Operations position in charge of the technical engineering staff, field staff deployment, inventory management, dispatch and CBE’s national network of service partners. He has been instrumental in establishing CBE’s presence in professional and managed services since joining CBE’s Executive Team. Before joining CBE, Mellor was President of Netivity Solutions, Inc. where he was responsible for driving business growth and managing operations on a day-to-day basis. George has more than a dozen years of experience in sales and management positions.
Chris Reily
Chief Technology Officer
In the role of CTO, Christopher provides Technical Consulting Services to the Sales Organization, delivers executive level Consulting Services to select clients focusing on Operational Readiness and serves in the leadership role of assessing, evaluating and packaging the technology solution sets that CBE delivers to its customers. Christopher has over fifteen (15) years of experience in the IT industry with a focus on government and education markets. He has over a decade of experience in a pure consulting role serving as Vice President of a leading New England IT consulting organization where he delivered in excess of 300 engagements in the government and education space focusing on building project design, technology master planning, infrastructure and system design, RFP development and budgeting and capital improvement expertise. In the years prior to joining CBE, Reily served as a Director of a successful consulting/engineering organization with an emphasis on virtualization and related technologies. In addition, Reily is a Senior Visiting Lecturer currently at Salem State College in the Master’s of Education, Information Technology program.
Robert Pesa
Vice President of Managed Service & Support
Robert Pesa brings over 20 years of experience in the technology industry to CBE Technologies. As the Vice President of Managed Service and Support, Robert works to refine our IT practices and improve customer satisfaction. Before coming to CBE, Robert began his career as a systems engineer, quickly moving up the ranks at New England Systems. He moved on to become a founding partner at Prominence Group Inc., joining CBE through acquisition of that company.
David P. Barter
Territory Manager, Northern New England
David P. Barter is the Territory Manager for Northern New England, with over 13 years in the IT Industry. David is responsible for oversight and management of 30+ Professional Services Engineers covering all the major technologies. With his certifications including, MCSE, CCEA, CCSP and CCNA he brings his extensive technical expertise to our clients on a daily basis. Prior to working at CBE Technologies, David was the CIO at a major home-based health services organization, overseeing all their technology needs.
Denis Young
Territory Manager, Metro New England
Denis Young is the Territory Manager for Metro New England, with over 15 years in the IT Industry. Denis leads a team of engineers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island providing guidance from an IT implementation and pre-sales prospective. With his experience including, Dell and Vmware technical certifications, Denis works with both private and public sector customers to solve their IT needs. Prior to working at CBE Technologies, Denis managed operations for a Law Firm while lending his technical expertise to multimillion dollar acquisitions at the firm.
Fred Collett
Territory Manager, Southern New England
Fred Collett is the Practice Manager in Connecticut and is responsible for Project Integration and Technology Services in that area. Since 2000 Fred has maintained his routing and switching CCIE. Fred joined CBE Technologies 2005 as the Practice Manager for Connecticut and has been designing and implementing some of the largest Networks in the area ever since. Prior to joining CBE Technologies, Fred held management, pre-sales and client development positions for over 10 years with consulting companies such as Jannon Solutions and Alpine Computer Systems.
John Mann
Vice President of Sales
John Mann is our Vice President of Sales for southern New England, responsible for managing vendor and customer relationships in that area. John has been in the IT industry working with Education, Government and Commercial markets for over 27 years. The leadership and expertise he has brought to CBE coupled with his Erate and government funding experience has helped to grow our education business. Prior to working in the IT Industry he was in K12 education as an administrator and teacher.
David S. Rembis, CPA
CFO
David Rembis has over 20 years of professional experience developing and managing financial, administrative and operational systems within organizations of varying sizes and in various industries. Before joining CBE Technologies in early 2009, David was COO, after serving as CFO, of a major non-profit organization in New England, overseeing human resources, financial and operational professionals . He has held several senior financial roles in both public accounting and private accounting and served as Controller for an IT firm in the early 2000s.
Lori Koch
Director of Marketing and Communications
Lori Koch is the Director of Marketing and Communications for CBE Technologies, responsible for marketing strategy and execution. Joining CBE technologies in 2006, Lori utilizes her marketing skills to build awareness of the CBE Technologies brand. Prior to joining CBE Lori began her career at Kessler Financial Services working on credit card campaigns for Norwegian Cruise Lines, Bass Pro Shops and Staples, among others. She moved on to Elsevier where she quickly gained momentum in the marketing department, helping to increase their computer engineering line sales by 8% each year.
