Title: Vice President of Sales
Market: Commercial Sector
Reports To: President
Compensation: Salary plus commission
Objectives:
Responsible for the leadership, management and performance of all sales team activities in assigned market. Staffs and directs a Sales Team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and Account Executives. There are five (5) key areas of focus and responsibility which include:
- Gross Profit Quota Achievement
- Accountability to drive Pipeline Growth and Client Penetration
- Coaching, Motivation, and Leadership of Commercial Sales Team
- Managing Sales Action Plan
- Team Building & Recruiting for Improvement
Responsibilities:
- Achieving Gross Profit quota assignment.
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Responsible for the performance and development of assigned Account Executives.
- Provides leadership to Account Executives in the implementation of their sales action plans.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans, as needed.
- Conducts one-on-one review with all Account Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Executive’s sales and activity performance.
- Work with management to provide on-going forecasts.
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding weekly, monthly and quarterly performance.
- Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. .
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
- Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Recruits, tests, and hires Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Relationships and Roles:
- Ensures that all Account Executives meet or exceed all activity standards (Leading Indicators) for prospecting calls, appointments, business partner planning, pipeline development, proposals and closes resulting in gross profit quota achievement.
- Delegates’ authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
- Sets examples for Account Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Account Executives to build momentum, motivation and selling skills.
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Expected Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of successful experience in sales and sales leadership.
- College Degree
- Goal Directed and results orientated.
- Experience and understanding of IT Solutions in mid-size and small enterprise markets.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel in New England region to support CBE Sales Team
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
- Healthcare IT solutions experience a plus.

Title: Senior Systems Engineer
Market: Commercial and Public Sector
Reports To: Territory Manager
CBE Technologies is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer for deployment and support of networking and system solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and support of networking and related security solutions for CBE’s customer base.
- Installation and support of Server LAN / WAN / firewall technologies as training and experience allow
Expected Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience with design / implementation / support of MS Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, and Exchange 2007/2010.
- Minimum 3 years experience with design / implementation / support of Citrix XenServer / XenApp, VMware ESX / VSphere / VCenter / VDI.
- Proficiency with security features and products as they relate to networking implementations
- Proficiency with HP / Dell / IBM server equipment, multiprocessor, RAID, and blade server technologies.
- Linux experience a plus
- Symantec experience a plus
- LAN / WAN, Layer 2 / Layer 3 expertise and Cisco ASA or other firewall technologies a plus.
- A self-motivated person who works well in a fast paced, energetic team environment.
- Excellent written & communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:

CBE Technologies is looking for a Project Manager / Coordinator to fulfill two primary responsibilities in our CT office. The first is to provide scheduling, administrative, and tracking support on various IT projects involving our seven professional engineers / consultants. The second is working as part of a project team, interacting with our clients to manage our technology projects to a successful conclusion.
This position requires solid organizational skills, and the ability to excel in a fast paced, professional environment. Expertise with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Visio is required.
- Creates and executes Microsoft project plans and revises as needed.
- Assists in identifying resources and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
